你是否聽見了梵谷之歌背後的心情故事？

之前荷蘭銀行信用卡廣告的梵谷超炫動畫是否吸引了你的注意呢？
你是否也注意到他好聽的背景音樂。

最早出現在Don Mclean（唐麥克林）這位美國民謠歌手於1971年所錄製經典專輯「American Pie (美國派)」之中。

2008年Don應邀來台演唱，在台大綜合體育館，我毫不考慮就上網
訂了票，演唱會當天雖然下起大雨，但絲毫沒影響到我的興致...
Don雖然老了，但演唱功力依舊了得....
當唱起此首Vincent時....Starry Starry Night.......似乎把我拉回高中回老家的那個半夜....心情頓時凍結在那個時空裡...
這輩子也許只能現場聽到這一次.....真的很感動!!!

十九世紀後印象派畫家文森．梵谷（Vincent VanGogh 1853-1890）一生坎坷不遇，他的油畫、水彩、素描等作品共計一千七百餘件然終其一生只賣出一幅「紅葡萄園」。在愛情方面，也是處處碰壁，曾追求過有夫之婦的尤爾秀兒、表姐凱琪、模特兒克麗斯汀、雛妓若琪兒的

梵谷終其一生沒有獲得任何女人的鍾愛而鬱鬱寡歡。他曾對農夫說：我在畫布上耕作，你在田地上耕犁。珍視生命而對人世間付出溫暖的關懷的梵谷最後被送入瘋人院！最後於1890年7月，梵谷舉槍自殺，享年僅三十九歲。

以畫家梵谷為名的這首歌曲「Vincent」是Don Mclean（唐麥克林）  在欣賞梵谷的畫作「Starry Night」（星夜）時，對於同為藝術家的梵谷之遭遇與孤寂所引發的創作靈感。同時這首歌也是唐麥克林傳世數十年的經典代表作一。

Reflect in Vincent's eyes of china blue映照在文生湛藍的眼瞳裡

Morning fields of amber grain清晨的田園裡琥珀色的農作物
Weathered faces lined in pain佈滿風霜的臉羅列著痛苦
Are soothed beneath the artist's loving hand在藝術家憐愛的手下得到撫慰

配上一雙看遍世事且永不遺忘的雙眼
Like the strangers that you've met就像你曾遇見的陌生人
The ragged man in ragged clothes那些衣衫襤褸的人們
The silver thorn of bloody rose也像血紅的玫瑰上銀色的刺
Lie crushed and broken on the virgin snow斷裂並靜臥在初下的雪上
